The term is used all the time, but what exactly does it mean? 20/20 vision is a term relating to the way visual acuity is determined. Visual acuity refers to the clarity of your vision.

Daily work related  stress and fatigue can weaken the eye muscles, and make your vision deteriorate faster. One of the best ways to address stress-related eye problems is by getting quality sleep every night.

Healthy Diet.

Eating a balanced diet of essential nutrients will provide all of the systems of the body the building blocks that they need for continues renewal and maintenance.  There are carbohydrates, protein, fats, fiber, water, minerals and vitamins that the many organ systems use.  For most people in general the place to start for improving daily diet is to add more fruit and vegetables to the daily diet.  Of course time should be given to read information on a balanced healthy diet, a list of food ingredients that include; Carbohydrates, protein, fats, fiber, water, mineral and vitamins. Also to consider the source of these groups, e.g. Protein, from soy milk, tofu, almonds, dates, eggs, poultry, fish, whole grains and seeds. By being creative with the information that you have attained from various resources, that can make a big difference in how you view food, and how move on from the traditional habits learned at home, whether they were good ones or bad ones in the nutritional sense.  Broadening the mind for new ingredients is a good thing, when we are talking about good health and well being.

Physical Activity.

Being physically active outdoors is really important t for overall health, there should time to walk, ride, skate, ski, swim, surf, slide, jog, run and skip at least some of them each day. Life is physically dynamic, it is essential to be physical, there is a force that needs to be challenged, and that force is called gravity, work with it and exercise your physical body by spending some time outdoors.  Take the time necessary to really feel what it is like to be outdoors and enjoying the environment, it may take 45-60 minutes per day, before the adjusting to it in the physical, emotional and spiritual sense.  Especially if you have never had the opportunity, or developed the habit of being outdoors in the fresh open air.

Social life and sharing.

Social life, sharing and having a sense of belonging brings a natural sense of motivation and zest for life. Visual acuity 2020 is a balance goal in life, it is about seeing clearly, observing and understanding.  This may be your strength, taking the time to share with friends.  Use your social skills to invite others to your new outdoor activities and daily walks, jogs or cycling. Be patient, it may take a bit for others to get the feel for it before they really start to feel great about it.  But what ever you do don’t let others discourage you from a healthy active outdoors life style.
